See You Next Year!

December 31, 2008

seriously. you have use this line. everyone has. i use it too. i love the concept talking to someone oh well ill see you next year. right before you leave and you are always hoping your the first one to say that to the person cause if you are they pause and have to think about it. not a long time but they do think and you hope you have to explain yourself. the timeless bit. well anyway since i am here at work i thought i would give you the year end post. the past year has been crazy a lot has happened and i can’t remember any of it. like usual things that have happend and were great.

  • Christina Got Pregnant!!!

  • Had my 1st year anniversary with christina
  • lived another year.

yeah you try to think of things that has happened to you in the last year you not going to remember a whole lot. …. yeah so any who happy new year to all of you. and have a safe new year.

Two Front Teeth or an SLR

December 4, 2008

take it all in.

So as most of you know i love photography. I am not the best at it. i don’t claim to be a photographer i just like doing it. To me thats what really matters you gotta love it then learn it. to me its a hobby so BACK OFF! he he. So I am really wanting a SLR to start really doing some things that you can’t do with a point and shoot. I right now have a Sony Cybershot its a great point and shoot top of the line one of the best you can buy its got a lot of advanced features but some things they make it way to easy/simplified for you i understand why. not everyone knows what the hell and F-Stop is or how to even set it right. i realize this is for someone that turns it to the green camera setting and looks thru the view finder and then CLICK’. There is nothing wrong with that either. christina when she uses the camera she just wants to push the button. so of course i have to have a camera that can do that. so the cybershot will stay with us and become a family camera something for her to record videos and such with. but i am getting to the point where i need some more options more settings. I am starting to get to the point where i know how to set up my exposure & f stop and such for each shot knowing how to accommodate for the darkness in the room. i really want something that can grow with me i know that the D40 is a good camera and i can get use to just taking pictures and then start getting advanced with it. so hopefully in the near future i will have one of these. My true goal is to have it before the baby is born. So i will know how to use it and have some good shots of my new child. :)

The Holiday Synopsis

December 3, 2008

HA HA HA! yeah right. if you believe this is a representation of a holiday you are stuck in the 50’s for sure. my thanksgiving was a unusual one this year not a bad unusual it different. i spent it in the smoky mountains. we rented a cabin with a bunch of Christina’s family and all made stuff for thxgiving and had it together. 4 some days stuck with in-laws no so bad luckily i am one of those people that get along with the in-laws and like them. i pretty sure they like me as well. but it was ok there were not as many tiffs and fights as i thought there would be. cause come on every freakin family fights and when your stuck so close together for so long something is going to happen but it was all good. but the only thing that sucked alot was the drive down i really didn’t do much of the driving which was great! i hate to drive if i didn’t have a license i would be just fine. i love the passenger seat and the back seat.  the other thing that sucked was we just didn’t have enough time and money to do all the things we wanted to do. but with vacations i think you never have enough time and money but all in all it was a good time.
