Bad Drivers.

this is a personal favorite i always look forward to hear. Everyone has a differnt excuse reason or even group they always blame it on. Everyone says it at one time in there life.

“That [ insert group or person here ]  can’t drive”.

its great. everyone does it i just love to hear where people point fingers or push blame on people its always different for everyone. Why do i bring this up? well yesterday was the real first snow we had one of those perfect snow where the flakes are the size of golf balls and you just want to sit in your living room with the blinds up turn out all the lights and just watch it fall down. (isn’t that a beautiful mental pic i just painted) BUT. i wasn’t in my living room i was driving home. so scratch that picture and a free way full of cars that have a sign on top every vehicle that says STUDENT DRIVER. it was horrible it was like everyone was looking out there window and seeing this TERROR falling from the skies WHAT THE HELL IS THIS WHITE STUFF!! AHHH its hitting my car must try to avoid hitting it. must slow down to idle speed!! seriously we live in ohio we get snow just as much as we get sun. i would think everyone would remember what its like to drive in it. cause all of you with ohio plates should know how. its just like this everytime it snows its like a bright new day for everyone of you and you have no idea what the hell this stuff is falling from the sky. for those of you that do not know cause yesterday is forgotten when you look up and see this….

 its called snow no it can’t hurt you. let me throw in a bit of science in for you.  it is actually a form of rain its just frozen…yeah…i know it was a shock for me when i first found out too (when i was 4 yrs old.) Seriously though i know i am just using this one example snowing but its for everything rain, sleet, snow, fog, dew, ice, sun. i just find it funny sometimes that people freak out when there is weather. I some times think that it starts with one person too. someone freaks out like ahh its snowing then it just snow balls (no pun intended) the person behind that person slows and so forth then you have this huge cluster of everyone slowing and freaking out cause everyone else is cause its snowing. . . . . sigh. but everyone blames everyone else you might have heard or said some of the following:

Ah they just can’t drive in this feakin state what never seen rain before!

This snow is not sticking its just falling GO!!!

i think this is my favorite because i hear it from women sometimes. its like calling some one four eyes while wearing glasses. i hear my mom saying this one all the time “Stupid Woman Driver!” HA HA i know hilarious. there is nothing funnier in my opinion. so here is the short and sweet of it!

 no one can drive everyone screws up every-once and a while and when you do there is that person behind you putting you in that category and and then when someone screws up and cuts you off or something you go put them in that category hence no one can drive. end rant.

So my little sea monkey now looks like a alien. YAY alien baby. heh well ill tell you what it goes a lot faster than you think it would. we are 20 weeks into pregnancy half way over. its a strange feeling sometimes just thinking about the little thing in Christina’s belly. she started feeling it recently and wow that is crazy too. sometimes its hard to really wrap your head around that there is some living little thing in there. i automatically think she got a face hugger on her and she feels fine and then at dinner bam little alien comes out. he he seriously though its a strange feeling cause it kicks so hard you can see her stomach move and you can feel it hit your hand. I can’t even think about what that would feel like on the inside. but any way we went to the doctors today for our 20 week ultrasound and check up. Up front everything looks great. 10 finger 10 toes a head and some other parts. everything points to a beautiful healthy baby just needs to bake for a few more months. So we have had a few arguments/disagreements lately concerning the baby. let me break it down for you so you will compeletly understand every argument

so now your up to speed. I really would never have believed that we would dispute so much over this. even though i should have seen it coming. Christina is a very planed organized have to know everything to plan everything type of person. i am the type of person that … how does she say it…… the kind of person that flies by the seat of his pants. yeah that it. so personality wise we are ying and yang we fit perfectly together cause the things she really cares about and wants to control i don’t care and let her control it. and just the opposite so we complement each other rather well. but i will tell you what we have butt heads on this topic more than we have ever butted heads being married. mainly cause the dispute never ends cause no one is right and no one is wrong thats what makes this such a hard thing to dispute cause this is a dispute where no one is winning or losing.( i keep saying dispute cause its not an argument where it ends up screaming and throwing things across the room FIGHT. it just disagreeing) I never wanted to know what my first child is i think the joy of finding out when you first see it is part of the fun the experience. that is something that will stick in your mind for the rest of your life kinda thing. Its just something that makes that moment even better. it one of the last real surprises left in a persons life. then walking out to the waiting room where you family is and saying Its a (insert gender here)!!!! what a feeling it must be. thats what i have tried to explain to her but she thinks its just as surprising knowing while she is laying on a table with a bunch of jelly on her stomach while a woman rubs this probe on her belly and we see something or nothing on a black and white monitor ITS A ….. yeah thats not exciting not a moment you will remember for the rest of your life. it goes yeah we found out what you were we planned and everything…. meh. everything she comes up with i come with a counter and vise versa so you see how difficult it is to disagree on such a topic. so what are we doing? as of now we do not know the sex….. as of now.

Snail Mail

So i mentioned this in a previous post i have a really good friend that now has gone off to the navy. i just got a letter from him from basic training. i plan on writing him about once a week just to keep him up today on everything going on and plus i think of him more as a brother than as a friend. So i just want to write him let him know people are still thinking of him even though he is gone. but now i find myself in a position that is weird to be in. I am writing letters. in the society we live in where everything is sent in an instant it seems so strange to give a message to the postman and then it will be sent to my friend and he will have it in a few days. if i said that a decade ago. the response would be ” So ” or ” Yeah ” its amazing how everything is just at a click of a button now. its seems like your being ignored if someone doesn’t respond to your e-mail within a few hours of sending it. another thing i am really cheating i am not writing anything. i am typing it and printing it out. cause i rely so much on spell check i don’t know how long it would take me to write something and make sure all the words are spelled right. and plus i type way faster than i can write. but on the other side my friend doesn’t have that he has paper and pencil so i can write two pages in the time it takes him to write a half page. the really unfortunate part is i have to read it. he has the worst handwriting & grammar out of anyone i know and if you know me that has to be bad cause my grammar is not the greatest. it just feels like writing is becoming so obsolete anymore. honestly can you remember when you actually sat down and wrote something out by hand that wasn’t a grocery list. i know some people still write more than they type but i just keep thinking about in my childs life time they will have more typing classes than classes on how to do cursive wirting. Which is such a crock by the way. all i remeber when i was in elementy school is my teach saying how we need to know how to write in cursive. everyone uses it and you have to know it go get by in society. WRONG. last time i used cursive was on a spelling test. give you an idea here were some of the words

yeah. its just crazy on how we are switching into a society that relys on you being able to type fast not how many words you can dictate on paper. i just wonder how long it will take to make it obsolete to write. think about it its not a crazy idea. do you have a blackberry or iPhone. do you write all your little reminders or notes on paper or it. yeah. its going in that direction its just crazy to think about. so i will keep typing my letters and keep trying to decipher my friends hand writing.

So I have been working away at some effects and designs. The only thing is when i do something it doesn’t really mean squat unless you see all of the animation so i created a MeaD’s Blog YouTube. Mostly cause i forgot the login to my old account that i use to post to….yeah. Its Underway!

So the drywall is done. which is terrific it took so long and i have learned so much from doing it. So next room i remodel will be a little easier. . . . hopefully. so now that i have conquered the drywall now the real challenge begins. you guessed it PAINTING! So went and bought the primer and painting supplies Then i prepared the room to paint. i cleaned up all the drywall dust, cleaned, swept, and wiped the walls of any dust that would be on them. i laid the drop plastic back down after i cleaned it. So after all of it was nice and clean i painted the entire room it took just a bit over an entire gallon. so now i have a nice white room and tonight i will be checking it and making sure that there are no imperfections. if there are not and i truely hope there will not be any i will give its second coat and the room is ready for all the painting. i will reveal what i am painting in the room little by litte right now. its just white so here just in case you don’t know what color that is.

 

 

 

there you go. i will keep you updated little by little of everything i am doing. a hint *this is going to be the sweetest baby room you have ever seen.

So today is my Birthday i am a Quarter Century old. Its kinda crazy how fast somethings go until you realize it. like i feel like it was just last year i was turning 20 and that was five years ago. crazy. i don’t know what i have planned for today but ill let you know. Sooo. Happy Birthday to ME!

What a Trooper.

 

This has nothing to do with this post. i just like this artist.

I’m not emo i just think its funny and a cool style.

 

So the past few days have been awful. just plain horrible not for me but everything christina has gone thru. At times you just wish that there was something that you could do or some how you could just go thru it for her so she doesn’t have too. you know what I mean? Well it all started last Wednesday. Christina started having chills and a fever. Being pregnant that is not a good thing. so we kept a close watch on it. i called the OB and they said if it gets over 101.5 or 102.0 get to the ER. next day guess what! 102.0 i left work in the afternoon to get her to the ER and they really didn’t know what was wrong with her. they were thinking it was the flu or some kinda of virus. they gave her a IV and some Tylenol and thats about it the fever left but it came back the next day. then her back wisdom teeth started hurting both of her lowers. so we took her to the Urgent Dental Care place. and they really didn’t do much for her but told her what we already knew. She had two lower impacted wisdom teeth that had to come out. they started to cause an infection. in the lymph nodes which caused the fever but it was too bad for them to deal with it. So we called her regular dentist and said they have to be taken out cause she can’t eat or anything thing. Mean while she started to develop lockjaw which was awful for her. So we got her in the the dentist monday morning and they preformed emergency surgery on her and removed both lower wisdom teeth. the horrible part was she was awake for all of it. they usually put you out for it. so she was awake while they pulled her teeth out. so i take her home while she is a huge amount of pain with her mouth stuffed with cloth. she is just in so much pain its aweful to see her like that but all we can do is just keep her like this. 

but here is the good news! what good news well the only thing that is getting her thru this whole thing. She finally felt the baby kick. its pretty awesome we are 18 Weeks today almost have way thru it. then i felt the baby kick as well and its pretty crazy too feeling something inside her and kicking my hand and it was hard. crazy hard for something that small. crazy…
